HOOSIER HERITAGE CONFERENCE GOLF CHAMPS

 

Pendleton Boys Golf won the Hoosier Heritage Conference title this weekend with a team score of 304. Leading the tournament was Ryan Frisbie with a 73. Jake Groninger shot 74 (placed 2nd), Rylan Denny shot 75 (placed 4th), Zach Phillips had 82 (10th place), and Steffan Slick shot 84.


Other team scores: Yorktown 311, Delta 321, Mt. Vernon 346, Rushville 347, New Palestine 349, Shelbyville 368, and Greenfield-Central 381.

Boys Golf Defeats Shenandoah

 

Boys golf beat Shenendoah on Monday with a team score of 149 to 177. Low medalists was Ryan Frisbie with 36. Other scores were Jake Groninger 37, Rylan Denney 37, Zach Phillips 39, and Steffan Slick 45. Record is 8-1.

LADY ARABIAN SPIKERS MOVE TO 16-3

 

The Lady Arabian Track Team moved their record to 16 – 3 last night when they won a 4-way meet against Jay County, New Castle, and Muncie South with a score of 105 points to nearest competitor’s 71.5.


Once again, all three relay teams placed first. These included Lauren Robertson, Emma Manchess, Mur Hagerman, Autumn Brown, Valerie Taylor, Molly Markle, Erica Manchess, Ellie McCardwell, Rachel Rushton, and Meghen Dawson. Ellie McCardwell also placed first in the long jump and the pole vault, where she cleared a height of 13’0″. Erica Manchess won the 400 Dash, Catrina Langley won the 300 hurdles, Autumn Brown placed first in the 800, Cally Elkin was first in the 200 Dash, and Leslie “the beast” Hersberger came across the finish line first in the 3200. Also posting personal bests were Emily Blake in the discus and Abby Clear in the shot put.


The Ladies are back in action Thursday when they travel to Warren Central.
