LADY ARABIANS CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES 2ND AT WESTFIELD

 

The Lady Arabian Cross Country team placed 2nd at the Westfield Hokum Karem Relays. The top finishing team was Mur Hagerman and Anna Dudley finishing in 7th place.

PHFOOTBALL DROPS A HEART BREAKER TO YORKTOWN 24-21

 Pendleton Heights scored 21 unanswered points after Yorktown led 7-0.  The tigers fought back to take the lead and secure victory with only two second remaining on the clock.  Ravaughn White sparked the Arabians with a 92 yard kickoff retrun for a touchdown.  Dezmon Nunn scored on an 18 yard run and Tylis Larkin rambled  5 yards for the Arabians final score.  Freshman Jon Furrow was 3 for 3 on extra points.  The Arabians host Greenfield Friday night in an important HHC contest.

PH BOYS TENNIS DEFEATS MT.VERNON 3-2

 

Pendleton Heights Boys’ tennis team defeated Mt.Vernon yesterday,


Monday by the score of 3-2. All three singles players contributed to


the victory…Matt Tran, Graham McMullen, and Brandon Hart.


Team record is 1-0 and our next match is this Wednesday, home to


Frankton.

BOYS SOCCER DROPS TWO AT CENTER GROVE

 

Pendleton Boy’s Varsity Soccer squad dropped both contests at Center


Grove on Saturday Aug. 22nd. The first match was a 10-1 loss to


Columbus East with Kevin Mellinger scoring on a Clayton Organ assist in


the first half. The second match was a 3-0 loss to Richmond. The team is


still missing three starters and is hoping to get one, possibly two of


those players back soon.


Coach Holden and the boys hope to get on track hosting Lawrence North on


Tuesday at 6:30pm following the JV match.

PENDLETON HEIGHTS BEATS KNIGHTSTOWN IN GIRLS GOLF

 

Pendleton Heights girls beat Knightstown last night 195-226. Medalist was Ashleigh Wise with 42, Lauren Patishall shot 43, Abby Wright shot 53, Haley Brown shot 57, and Micah Perry shot 58.

MADISON COUNTY RUNNER-UP

 Pendleton Heights placed second in the Madison County Girls Golf tournament on Saturday.  Lapel won with a score of 408.  Pendleton shot 411.  Low medalists for the tournament was our very own Ashleigh Wise who shot 86.  Other scores for Arabians were Lauren Patishall 93, Micah Perry 111, Abby Wright 121, and Haley Brown 123.

BOYS SOCCER LOSES TO A VERY STRONG WESTFIELD TEAM

 

The boys soccer teams played westfield last night and lost. The two teams played very hard and even though the teams are not at full force they played well together. Players to recognize for outstanding play on JV are Tyler Eby and Zach Humphrey. Player to recognize for outstanding play on varsity is Kyle Eby. Next games are this weekend at center grove. First home game is this upcoming Tuesday at 5:00PM. Come watch and support the boys soccer team in their home opener this Tuesday!

LADY ARABIANS FINISH SECOND

 

the Pendleton Heights Girls CC team is off to a good start. Finishing second to a VERY strong New Palestine team and beat Shelbyville at the New Palestine triangular meet.
