LADY ARABIAN SOFTBALL OPEN WITH A WIN

Last night the Lady Arabian softball team opened up their season with a convincing win over Shenandoah 8-1. Freshman Kenzie Gustin threw 5 innings giving up 2 hits and only 1 run. Freshman Brook Wendling came in and pitched 2 scoreless innings in relief. Sierra Lewis led the offense going 3 for 3 with a double and a triple and 3 RBIs. The varsity host Knightstown tonight at home if the weather holds off.

The JV also defeated the Raiders last night in a game shortened due to darkness. The Arabians led 12-1 in the top of the 4th when the game was called. Katelynn West got the win on the mound and Brittley Jewell paced the offense
