A PHHS School Record was broken and 4 PHHS Lady Arabian Track Athletes move on to next week’s HSR Indoor State Finals at Purdue University. Junior pole vaulter Ellie McCardwell broke her own record of 12′ 3″ last Saturday, March 14th, when she vaulted 12′ 6″ to win first place in the Mideast Classic Indoor meet at Wabash College in Crawfordsville. She will move on to the finals next week. Freshman sprinter Calley Elkin also posted a fast enough time in the 55 meter dash to move on to next week’s Purdue meet when she ran it in 7.64 seconds. Ellie and Calley, along with freshman Rachel Rushton and sophomore Molly Markle, will also be moving on to Purdue in the 4 x 200 m relay.
